How to Prepare Your Products for an E-commerce Photoshoot
A practical checklist for getting your products, shot list and references ready so shoot day runs smoothly.
Clothing photographed on real models, full-body to detail, so shoppers see fit, drape and movement.
A flat lay tells a shopper what a garment is. An on-model image tells them how it fits. Shoulder width, rise, hem length, how a fabric falls when someone moves: those are the questions that keep a customer from buying, and the reason apparel brands put people in their product photos.
This page focuses on clothing within our on-model e-commerce photography service. The framings are the ones listed on our site: full-body, half-body, hands or headshot. For apparel that usually means a full-body hero for the listing, a half-body crop for tops and outerwear, and detail frames of hands at a pocket, a cuff or a waistband so texture and finish are obvious.
Good apparel e-commerce is repeatable. Every SKU in a collection should share the same pose set, crop and background so that a category page lines up cleanly and returns-driving surprises are kept to a minimum. In the request form, list your SKUs, sizes and any existing pose guide, or share a shot list link, and we will build a run sheet that keeps the day moving.
Our gallery shows the range: streetwear and sets, dresses, outerwear and full looks shot clean for product pages. When a drop also needs campaign imagery with more creative direction, look at commercial editorials; for the flat versions of the same pieces, see flat lay photography.
