Half-Day vs Full-Day Commercial Shoot: Which Fits Your Brand?

A great campaign hero image sets your business apart from the competition. When you are planning a commercial editorial shoot, one of the first decisions is how much studio time you need. Vidd Studios offers two production starting rate-card packages.

The two packages at a glance

• Half-Day Studio Commercial Production Shoot: $797. Production shoot of max 4 hours, up to 500 RAW photographs.
• Full-Day Studio Commercial Production Shoot: $1,997. Production shoot of max 8 hours, up to 1000+ RAW photographs.

When a half-day is usually enough

• You have a focused concept: one look, one set, or a small product line.
• You need a handful of hero images for a launch, a landing page or social posts.
• Your shot list is short and your references are already locked in.

When a full-day makes more sense

• You are shooting multiple looks, sets or products in one session.
• You want a wide range of campaign images to use across channels over time.
• The concept involves wardrobe, styling or set changes that take time between setups.

Questions to ask before you choose

Count how many distinct setups your shot list needs, decide how many final images you actually plan to use, and consider whether you would rather capture extra content now than book a second session later. If you are unsure, describe the project in the request form and we will help you scope it.

Don't forget post-production

Both packages deliver RAW photographs. Retouching, image editing and color grading for your selects are available at $40-$60 / Image, with a Standard (8 business days) or Rush (4 business days, rush fee applies) turnaround.
